Quick Measuring Guide for CUSTOM UNIFORMS:
DO NOT ADD TO MEASUREMENTS!!!
Bust/ Chest: Measure around the chest at the fullest part.
Waist: Measure around the waistline or where the skirt will be worn.
Hips: Measure around the body at the fullest part of the hips.
Back Length: Measure in back from the bone at the base of
the neck to desired length. Allow for overlap over skirt!
Skirt Length: Measure from the top of the waistband to the desired length
in back (over buttocks).
Pants Inseam: Measure a pair of pants that fit well, down the inside leg from
crotch seam to hem.
Measuring Tips:
Have team members wear a leotard or swimsuit for fast, accurate measuring. Snug-fitting T-shirts and lightweight (knit?) shorts are OK. Do NOT measure over bulky garments.Make sure the same (adult) person measure all team members.Have an assistant take notes while you measure- it's faster, easier and a lot less confusing!Keep tape straight and snug- but not tight.Do NOT add to measurements! If you want grow-room- adjustments can be made during size conversion, not during measuring.Problems converting into sizes? Busy- and just don't have the time to do it yourself?Fax or email your measurements and we will recommend appropriate sizing.
Please note, when submitting measurements:
1. We cannot take responsibility for accurate fit. We will do the best we can, with the measurements that YOU submit. We usually do very well with ACCURATE measurements. It's really very simple- just follow the rules above and DON"T ADD!
Bodies come in ALL shapes and sizes. Sometimes a student will be impossible to fit normally (i.e.. small waist/ big hips, big waist/ no hips, normal bust/ large waist, big bust/ small waist, etc) These students will need alterations- there is no getting around that fact.Many groups add 2-3" to measurements for "grow room" and don't tell us when they submit measurements. When a student falls in between sizes- we move them up to the next size. Because the measurements were padded, these students received uniforms that were really 2 sizes too large and had to pay to have them altered because they literally fell off their bodies. Parents get mad about this!Please keep in mind that all CUSTOM UNIFORMS and WARM-UPS are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-EXCHANGEABLE!
These uniforms are made just for you. If you want "loose fit"- PLEASE, JUST TELL US ! It really is much easier for us to size "loosely",than it is for you to pay to have unnecessary alterations done, because inches were added for "grow room" and you ended up with uniforms with skirts falling down around your girls ankles! Plus, all the "mad Mommas" screaming at you and us! This happens regularly and it is NOT pretty! Even worse is when you order at the last minute, your trim is late coming in and you have a deadline to meet and THEN have to pay even more for rush alterations! Please take a few minutes and measure accurately for your sake- and our sanity!
2. Submitting measurements to us recommend or double check your sizing WILL DELAY YOUR ORDER!
It may only take a day - or it may take a week (depending on workload) for someone to size your order. If we have questions or just need your OK to go ahead and cannot reach you, or you need to re-measure a student, etc.- your order must be put on "hold" until the problem can be resolved. Your order will then be submitted as a complete order to the factory and production time begins at THAT point!

Large team? Sizing sample kits may be reserved, by request, on a first come- first serve basis.
Sizing sample kits are available for LARGE TEAM (50+) fittings only. Limited number of kits available.Please try to reserve at least 3 - 4 weeks before fitting date. Let us know ASAP which style you are interested in and your try-on date. The earlier you can reserve a date the better (first come- first served). All samples require a security deposit. Samples must be returned within 2 weeks for deposit refund (minus shipping) or full credit toward your team's order. We do not have men's uniform sizing kits available.
